MIFF 2004 DAY SIX

Photography by Clif Graves

Ok, so it is decadent to have a Peace Pop, popcorn, AND candy with the first movie of the day.  Who cares?

Stores close and night falls over downtown Waterville as  the audience assembles for the Piaf...Her Story...Her Songs movie and mini-concert.

Festival programmers, Ken Eisen and Alan Sanborn,  discuss some weighty matter in the Opera House lobby.

Festival passholders use the precious moments of quiet to talk, just sit, or even read the paper.

NEW BOOKS FROM OUR CONTRIBUTORS

Editor’s note: With the fall 2008 issue of the journal, we will be starting a new feature where we highlight new books written by some of our contributors. We encourage readers, whenever possible, to buy these books for their own personal libraries, as gifts for family and friends, and perhaps even for their town libraries.
