Those arriving at the Opera House for the opening film, were greeted by
music in the park.
Well before the start of
of The Islander long lines formed to buy tickets.
Opera House is filled to just about capacity.
Festival Director, Shannon Haines, welcomes the crowd to MIFF.
Following greetings and introduction to the festival, the first night's showings
get underway.
Back at Railroad square, six more movies are showing. My personal
dilemma is not which movie to go to, (we planned that weeks ago) but which
new festival hat to buy... Blue? Green? Both?
