MIFF 2005 IMAGES DAY ONE

For some MIFF
starts with the opening ceremonies at the Opera House, for others it starts
with the first sighting of the new Film Tower at Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville Maine
Friends talk about past
festivals and look over the Festival booklet while they wait in line to get
into this year's first festival movies.
Passes and festival swag are
purchased. Old friends are met. The good mood is contagious.
The crowd builds, the
lobby fills, the festival talk goes on while waiting for the events to
begin.
Some have been going over the schedule for days but still hope to get a last
tip for that "not to miss showing".
While the big events were happening at the Opera House, There are nearly
full theaters at RR2.
