Down the street from The Theater, work is also going on in the grange or "La Grange" as it is called.
Once the Monmouth grange, now the actors' "mess hall" is on the first floor
and rehearsal space on the second.
On this Sunday after noon, Pippi Longstocking is being rehearsed in the
grange.
The director, prompter, and others work with the actors as Pippi
begins to take shape.
